Protecting Expensive, High-Volume Pumps From Abrasive Wear
LAKOS separators keep abrasive solids out of municipal water supplies, as shown in this illustration from an actual installation in small village in rural France. Protect Turbine and Submerislbe Pumps
Keep sand and other destructive solids from causing wear to chambers and impellers. A PPS separator is shown in the illustration with a turbine pump. Submersible pumps can use either a PPS or Sub-K separator, depending on the size of the well and the flow rate through the pump.
