Pump Protection for Submersible and Turbine Pumps in Water Wells


Sand in water wells can cause enormous damage as it is pumped to the surface by submersible and turbine pumps. The impellers, bearings, and other internal parts of the pumps are pitted and scarred by the sand as it passes at high velocity, wearing down the surface ares and causing loss of efficiency. The pump will need to run longer and use more energy to accomplish the same results. At some point the pump can stop operating completely as impeller and bearings break, leading to premature pump failure.

LAKOS Pump Protection Separators can prevent this and extend the life of the pump.
