SideStreamClean Systems: Packaged Separator Systems For Side Stream Condenser, Chilled and Hot Water Applications

A packaged centrifugal separator filtration system utilizing either an accessible HTX series separator (on the SPX package) or an ILB / HTH non-accessible series separator (on the SPI package) plus:

• A pump, (inlet strainer is optional)
• Either a zero liquid loss SRV solids purge collection system or an automatic ball valve solids purge system
• A 'PLUS' sub-micron cartridge filter unit for polishing down to 0.35 micron
• A control system mounted in a NEMA 4X, UL listed control box
• All packaged on a unitized skid mounting system.

Flow Range:

30 -1100 US GPM (7 - 250 m3/hr).

Most Commonly Used For:

Filtration in HVAC applications for which a side stream flow installation is recommended. The PLUS system provides finer filtration (down to 0.35 micron removal) than achieved through the standard SideStreamClean system.

Typical applications include sidestream condenser, chilled, and hot water application used to optimize heat transfer efficiency by removing solids from liquids.
